Actress Charley Webb, known for playing Debbie Dingle in the Dales, has confirmed she’s landed a new role but this time it’s on the stage instead of on the screen
Two years ago actress Charley Webb left ITV’s soap Emmerdale after a whopping 19 years on the show and has just revealed she’s landed a brand-new role in a touring play.
Charley had plenty of storylines to keep her busy on the show, from romances, to pregnancy, her daughter’s illness and a terrifying siege. Charley will appear in a touring production of Quiz which dramatises the story of infamous Who Wants to be a Millionaire? contestant Charles Ingram. It follows the 'Coughing Major' scandal around his win and subsequent trial.
Lots of former Emmerdale colleagues congratulated Charley and told her they’d be keen to see her in the play.
