Emmerdale's director hints 'eight or nine characters' might be killed off: 'No one is safe!'

Emmerdale 's director Tim O'Mara has teased that "eight or nine characters" might be killed off during the ITV soap's 50th anniversary storm stunt week.

He added: "We do go to the hospital on a number of visits - a number of people hurt by debris flying around the village, there are accidents in the woods, trees falling on people. It comes as Emmerdale fans were left devastated on Monday night as Harriet Finch died after she was caught in a deadly storm explosion with Kim Tate during the ITV soap's 50th anniversary.
