Emmerdale star Fiona Wade spoke on This Morning about how she used the anxiety her character Priya Sharma's challenging storyline gave her to her benefit.

Talking to Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby she said how the excitement of receiving the phone call about the big storyline soon turned to anxiety. It appears that all of her hard work and worries have paid off as fans have taken to social media to say how Fiona was such a "wonderful actress". Both the character and viewers recently got the first glimpse of the scars as, Priya decides to confront her fears and look at her scars on her back for the very first time in a bid to help her on the road to recovery.
