Emmerdale aired some tense scenes tonight as Laurel attempted to escape from Colin's clutches
Emmerdale fans were in for some uncomfortable viewing on last night's episode . Tense scenes have had viewers gripped recently as an increasingly unstable Colin Hampston locked Laurel Thomas in a bedroom after she attempted to retrieve his son Marshall's passport.
Colin, played by actor Mark Noble, told Laurel that he would allow her to leave his captivity, being determined to make contact with his son - but only on one condition, if she first phoned Marshall and managed to convince him to come over to the house. Horrified by Colin's plan, Laurel told him: "You can't change someone's sexuality. You don't know how much damage you've done to your son already, Colin.Later on, viewers saw Laurel attempt to escape from the house in an intense scene as she smacked Colin over the head with a bible while he prayed over the situation, but her plan soon backfired when she realises the doors were locked and she was trapped inside.
