Emmerdale spoilers see Cathy's 'never seen before' story as teen confides in Bernice
Only recently, Emmerdale boss Jane Hudson teased that Cathy will be part of a "challenging" and "emotional" storyline.
In upcoming scenes, Bernice tries to help Cathy with her revision but is soon left upset and offended over the teenager's hurtful comments about the menopause. Opening up a little, an overwhelmed Cathy feels ashamed of her heavy periods and explains this is the reason why she missed her exam. It comes as Emmerdale boss Jane told press, including OK!, in December of the storyline: "We have got a lot of our youngsters that have got stories coming up. I think you get to an age with the young cast where you suddenly realise they are growing up.
