Emmerdale star Mark Charnock has teased fans with the ‘sensational’ storylines they can look forward to marking the soap’s 50h anniversary.
As Emmerdale viewers will know, a major month of twists and turns are coming to mark the ITV soap’s major milestone. We’ve previously brought you news from Emmerdale boss Jane Hudson promising a return of some former favourites while there’s rumours of a birth in the village. LeedsLive attended a press day at this programme’s Eccup base where we had a chance to grill Zoe Henry and Mark Charnock - who play Rhona Goskirk and Marlon Dingle respectively. Although, they stayed relatively tight-lipped with regards to what is planned.Zoe said: “We don’t know them . We only get sent the scripts we are in and I don’t know anything about the 50th, genuinely.
The Marlon Dingle star replied: “We’ve just been emailed them . They’ve just arrived and it is nothing short of sensational, actually.So, we might not know too much more about what is planned for Emmerdale's 50th but it seems like the major storylines will be worth the wait. We'll keep you posted when we discover more.
