England cricketers spotted at McDonald's in early hours of the morning
It brought the curtain down on an epic series that has captured the attention of the nation, with only the rain spoiling the chance of a blockbuster finish.
The England players went on a night out to celebrate the end of the series and fans shared videos on social media of them ending up in McDonald's where they feasted on some well earned food - and were hydrating with bottles of water. It also appeared that England met up with their Australian counterparts in a night club after missing out on their usual post-Ashes beer in the changing rooms.at 4.11am, Stokes said: "To clarify… Our wrap took longer than expected because of multiple last time events. We decided to meet up in the night club rather than the dressing room.
Stokes said: "When he announced his retirement and I told my wife that this was going to be his last game she was like, 'Oh, Broady is the one who messages me saying that Ben's got home safe after a good night out'. "After we've won a Test match. So she doesn't have that anymore, so it's going to be someone else. Probably Rooty."
