After visiting Oliver’s orchard the next morning, I followed a strand of the Food Trail south to. The farm has been in Rob Walrond’s family for 200 years, and organic since 1999. Now it’s home to Rob’s shop, sheep, cows and very free-ranging chickens; 70 types of vegetables, grown by tenants Rita and Adam; and Olga’s cafe, where at least 80 per cent of the menu is sourced on site. “The farm now effectively supports three businesses,” Rob explained.Rob happily welcomes visitors.
