GUY Verhofstadt has sparked outrage after saying that Brexit may only be temporary and admitted there is “no doubt” the UK will return to the European Union “where it belongs”. The European Parliament’s Brexit negotiator said Britain’s departure from the bloc will have a “negative” affect on business, young people and EU citizens.
