Following Everton’s dismal 4-0 defeat at Aston Villa, Sean Dyche has a series of potential selection posers to consider ahead of Saturday’s home game against fellow strugglers Wolverhampton Wanderers.

At centre-back, Michael Keane and stand-in captain James Tarkowski were both caught out of position for Villa’s two goals while the former could arguably be deemed to be personally culpable for the third and fourth due to individual errors. Returning to his former club, Ashley Young also endured a torrid time with Villa’s first goal coming down his flank and his ill-judged throw-in putting the visiting defence into danger for the fourth - so his place could be under threat from the fit-again Vitalii Mykolenko.
