The Italian burst onto the scene at Elland Road last season after moving to Leeds from FC Zurich last summer with Gnonto producing a number of sparkling performances in the Premier League.after showing his talent at Leeds last term.

The Toffees, who have already added Ashley Young and Arnaut Danjuma to their squad this summer, are said to be ‘leading the race’ for Gnonto with the Italian ‘expected to leave Elland Road on a permanent basis in the coming weeks’ despite Leeds letting a number of players move on loan for the season.
