Everton predicted teams and line-ups for the Premier League clash against Arsenal at Goodison Park
This is probably the trickiest call of Sean Dyche’s season so far and one that will split opinion, but which is a nice issue to have: presuming he sticks with one up top does he go with Beto or Dominic Calvert-Lewin?
This is because I think Danjuma has the better attributes to expose the right of Arsenal’s defence, a potential weak spot following the injury to Jurrien Timber, the club’s first-choice right-back. Everton’s number nine has been missing since he was forced off in the first half at Aston Villa on August 20 following a collision with opposition goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez but speaking in his pre-match press conference, Dyche said Calvert-Lewin “should be clear” and “he’ll certainly been coming back to the fold.
My team : Pickford; Patterson, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Young, McNeil, Onana, Doucoure, Gueye, Danjuma; Beto. For the first time this season, it feels as though Sean Dyche has a number of decisions to make when it comes to team selection this afternoon.
