Everton have rejected the chance to sign Conor Coady permanently for £4.5m. Now, Sheffield United are reportedly poised to swoop for the centre-back.
Everton have turned down the chance to sign Wolves centre-back Conor Coady for £4.5m this summer. Now, Sheffield United are reportedly poised to make a move.
This was confirmed by Everton in a recent statement. They said: “Conor Coady and Ruben Vinagre have completed their loan spells with EFC and will now return to their respective parent clubs following the conclusion of the 2022/23 season.” As for Coady, who is set to return to Wolves, it seems unlikely that he will be in Julen Lopetegui’s plans for next season.
