'Disastrous' Ben Godfrey hooked at half time with Stuart Pearce left 'astounded' EFC
Everton boss Sean Dyche must have been listening to talkSPORT after hauling Ben Godfrey off at half-time against Manchester United.
Vitalii Mykolenko was duly called into action at half-time as Dyche substituted Godfrey, a move England legend Stuart Pearce was keen to see. “It’s awful defending. If I was Dyche I would take Godfrey off the pitch. I think he’s having a disaster.
United went on to land a 2-0 victory against Everton after Anthony Martial came off the bench to make sure of the result.
