Comedian and presenter Hardeep Singh Kohli has been arrested and charged in connection with sexual offences, Police Scotland has said
Kohli’s career began when he joined BBC Scotland as a trainee after graduating from university. He then worked at the BBC Television Centre as a director of children’s TV, before his role as series director on Janet Street-Porter’s seriesHe directed and starred in the Channel 4 programmeKohli has also worked as a director of commercials, in TV development and in radio as well as staging one-man shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
He was born in London but moved to Glasgow at age four, where he attended Aloysius’ College, a fee-paying Catholic school before studying law at the University of Glasgow.
