A former Boots employee has revealed four key tips to save money when doing the Christmas shopping this year. The retailer has launched a flash one-day offer, with people being given £10 worth of Advantage Card points for every £60 spent on almost everything in store, The Mirror reports.
Three for two mix and match The three for two mix and match offer sees shoppers being able to stock up on stocking fillers to the tune of £90 and get them for £60, or they could opt for bigger-ticket items at £30 each, and get three for £60. Again, you can use the NEWAPP10 code but remember to check that the value of your basket is £60 or over after the discount or you’ll risk missing out on the points.
That said, there are other beauty advent calendars on the Boots site that are well worth the investment, such as the 24 Days of Premium Beauty Treats Christmas Advent Calendar, which is £99 but worth a whopping £467.91. Another great option are the No7 skincare advent calendars , though at only £54.95 they come under the threshold for the points offer, so you’d have to chuck in a couple of extras to make it £66 in order to get 10 per cent off and the points.
