The forecast for Friday, July 7 looks to rise significantly, with temperatures spiking at 21C in Glasgow - just in time for the first day of the TRNSMT festival. The capital will also be bathed in good weather this weekend, with highs of 22C across Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and just a 30 per cent chance of rain on July 8.
"Scotland and Northern Ireland however will see some wet and occasionally windy weather move in though during Thursday and Friday.
