Organisers say put the nerves aside
Brave swimmers are being urged to ditch their trunks and bikinis for a naked swim in the lake at Colwick Park. It's not the first time WholeHealth has organised a skinny dip, with one at the beginning and end of the season last year.
"I think everybody should skinny dip at least once in their life! I think people enjoy it because it feels exciting, and gives a sense of freedom and connection with the water. In our case there is a really special connection with nature too as we will be swimming outdoors.""Feeling the water all over your skin, especially colder water when swimming outdoors, is an exhilarating experience. It feels very brave, and for some people is a huge step for their body confidence.
