Fake encrypted app cooked up over beers by Aussie cops and FBI leads to global sting that has smashed gangs across the world
Fake encrypted app was developed by the FBI and introduced into the criminal underworld 18 months ago. The app called 'AN0M' spread to 12,000 phones, across 300 crime gangs in more than 100 countries. 4,000 Australian cops were deployed last night as part of sweeping raid on safe houses across the nation. They hauled in sniper rifles, shotguns, tons of drugs, a Lamborghini, a Harley-Davidson and Rolex watches.
