Bryony Duthie's family say the 18-year-old's condition has 'worsened' and they desperately need to get home to Dundee
The family of a Scots teen placed in a coma after falling ill on holiday in Spain have made a desperate plea to help get her home with "crippling costs" now hitting £33,000.
Stephanie Duthie, 37, Bryony's mother said in a post: "Unfortunately Bryony still remains in a coma in Spain and fighting with everything she’s got but things have worsened. Her blood levels have worsened to the point the doctor said her kidneys are not working. "Our hearts are shattered and we thank every single person who has shared, donated and supported our amazing Bryony's Story. We need our baby girl home to continue her Critical Care journey in ICU.
Facing medical bills costing thousands of pounds, Stephanie added: "I know I am asking a lot, but Bryony needs every penny and chance to get better.
