A 56-year-old man has been arrested in connection with her death
The family of a woman at the centre of a murder investigation have paid tribute to 'a dearly loved mum, daughter and sister', saying she has been 'tragically taken way too soon'.
Greater Manchester Police today released a touching tribute to her from her family - and a family-album photograph of her. "At this time we as a family ask for privacy and show respect for Caroline and her memory. We ask that members of the public allow the police to conduct the investigation into the passing of Caroline and that any information is passed to them."
In a statement, GMP said: "Caroline Gore has now been formally identified as the 44-year-old woman who was found by officers at 8pm on Monday 30 October 2023, when they were called to reports of a concern for welfare at Douglas House in Wigan.
