The grieving family of a gran who is alleged to have murdered her husband days after Christmas wept as she appeared in court. Teresa Hanson, 53, from of West Cowick appeared in court today, December 31, charged with murdering Paul Hanson, 54, in East Yorkshire on December 28.
The pair were married for 34 years before the alleged incident. Mrs Hanson appeared at court wearing a grey tracksuit and was watched by family members looking on from the public gallery, who were heard crying in the background. Humberside Police said last night: "A woman has been charged with murder in connection with the death of Paul Hanson. Teresa Hanson, aged 53, has been charged with murder and has been remanded into custody to appear at Hull Magistrates Court today - Saturday, December 31.
