Miley Cyrus fans are going wild after she announced a new song will be dropping later this month. But the date has proved doubly exciting for some fans after they realised Selena Gomez is also releasing new music on the same day.
Miley announced the release of her new track "Used To Be Young" on social media. Posting a picture of herself, which could be the single's cover, she wrote: "Used To Be Young. August 25th." She also posted a teaser for a new ABC special called "Endless Summer Vacation: Continued . The TV show will air on the night of August 24 - the day before the single drops.She said: "In celebration of my new single release Endless Summer Vacation continues. Aug 24 @ 10pm EDT on ABC. This time with a retrospective interview sharing stories about the first 30 years of my life in honour of U2BY.The teaser video was also released on YouTube. It can be viewed below.

It turned out to be the same day Selena Gomez is releasing her new song, "Single Soon". Fans went into meltdown.Mia Mars added: "Two of my teenage years girlies are droppin' on 25th! I love that date."But the Miley Cyrus Chile fan page disagreed. "WE ARE READYYY," it said.
