Fans go wild for Eurovision in Manchester at fan party in Piccadilly Gardens
Fans were able to make the most of the sunny weather on Saturday with picnics and parties on the newly-reinvigorated grass at the gardens, while big screens showed all the build up and the full finals.to give families and revellers the chance to watch the big night together. The evening's entertainment was kicked off by DJ Misty Chance who played a host of iconic Eurovision tracks from over the years, as well as party favourites.
City centre spokesman Coun Pat Karney hailed the event a huge success, and said the council would definitely be looking at holding similar events again.
