A search is under way to find "hero" dad who jumped into a lake to save his son during a family holiday. The 51 year old, Aran Chada, from Leicestershire, was on holiday in Italy when the family decided to hire a boat on Lake Garda on Friday, July 22.
Mr Chada is a company director in the oil industry and lives with his family in a village near Loughborough, Leicestershire. He had been celebrating his birthday with his partner, Holly Mosley, 39, his son and daughter.A coastguard spokesperson said that the family had rented the boat for two and a half hours, and were due to return it shortly before the incident.
