In an attempt to move the legendary fixture towards a more inclusive roster, director David Pickard said: ‘We’re moving in the right direction towards equitable representation but it’s a slow process.’ David continued explaining: ‘This is hugely advanced on the figures of even 10 years ago. Is it enough? No, but the motivation to change these things is enormous.’Marin Alsop will close out the season
