Bruno Fernandes was furious with the referee Michael Oliver after he failed to award Man United a penalty in Saturday's defeat in north London.
Former centre-back Rio Ferdinand has said that Bruno Fernandes should have used his post-match interview after Saturday's 2-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur to focus on Manchester United's poor performance.
Fernandes, understandably, was furious with the decision and asked referee chief Jon Moss to issue an apology. Fernandes' comments did not sit well with former United defender Ferdinand. The pundit was critical of the former Sporting Lisbon ace, insisting that he should have used his opportunity in front of the camera to focus on how poor United's performance was.
"I understand why he's upset, but he probably would have got more out of it by coming out there and going, 'You know what, we've been s**t, we ain't been up to the level we expect ourselves to be at and we need to get better, be better and do more'.
