EXCLUSIVE: As former This Morning host Fern Britton looks set to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house - there could be drama ahead, not least over her 'feud' with Philip Schofield
If it’s true that Fern Britton is set to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house when the show launches this Monday night, 5 March, there could be serious drama ahead.
“She's not afraid to speak out now and she's not taking any prisoners. Viewers can certainly expect fireworks.” But behind the scenes, it seems things were far from perfect - and Fern sensationally quit the show in 2009 amidst rumours of a furious ‘feud’, to be replaced by Holly Willoughby, who exited the show last year.
In 2013, Fern told MailOnline: "I always say Phillip and I had an indefinable chemistry which seemed to work well on-screen, she said. We 'got' each other. Phillip said he and Fern argued in a makeup room in 2009 over the content of a show – and he was "stunned" when she accused him of "meddling."
