Back for one last adventure - Harrison Ford as Dr. Henry 'Indiana' Jones Jr. in Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny
Raiders Of The Lost Ark was a sublime bit of movie-making that has had more of an impact on pop culture than every flick of the last decade combined, and remains – quite simply – one of the greatest films ever shot. In the final chapter of the gung-ho franchise that has been on a downward trajectory like that boulder since Raiders Of The Lost Ark, Ford’s bullwhip-cracking alter ego has another moment of clarity.
Antonio Banderas appears briefly as a salty seadog, who is dragged into the globe-trotting hunt for a contraption that can turn back the clock, and perhaps spare audiences the bloated 154-minute running time of Mangold’s picture. Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken splashes into cinemas just over a year after Pixar explored intergenerational angst in Turning Red, a beautifully crafted coming-of-age comedy about a shy 13-year-old who metamorphoses into a giant red panda every time she succumbs to embarrassment or excitement.
