Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth release window revealed, physical edition will have two discs because it's the '90s again FinalFantasy FFVIIRebirth SummerGameFest
After several days of posting cryptic tweets, Square Enix has finally given us more information on the highly anticipated Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth including a tentative release window. According to the short preview, the upcoming sequel will apparently be released at some point during early 2024, which is as vague as a time frame could be since that could be at any point from January to April next year.
Luckily, the developers have also decided to give us more details on the game’s physical edition as they’ve announced that it will apparently be on two discs harkening back to the days of the PS1. Naturally, this will force hardcore Final Fantasy enthusiasts to opt for this version instead as opposed to the digital since a game with dual CDs is a rarity nowadays.
This is a developing story and more will follow soon. In the meantime, check out the trailer for yourself
