A fire engine and several firefighters were spotted on the city's Buchanan Street just before 10am on Tuesday.Three firemen were seen at the shopfront for Massimo Dutti.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that they had been dispatched to the store after an automatic fire alarm went off. The building was examined and crews left the scene after it was confirmed that there was no fire or smoke. A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 9.47am on Tuesday, December 6 to an automatic fire alarm at Buchanan Street, Glasgow."Firefighters checked the building and established that there was no sign of fire or smoke.
