First Dates' Fred Sirieix admits he initially hesitated over signing on to the show
Fred divulged that the decision to join the dating show did take some time.
He said: "It took me a while to decide. I had so many different meetings and a lot of considerations. Thankfully, it was genuine and authentic, and people love it. "It was a world I knew, and no acting involved – just me being me, running a restaurant and getting on with people." He went on: "I think the show makes people realise they are not alone. Life is difficult for all of us. When you think it is hard, listen to someone else's story."
