First look at Disney+ The Full Monty reboot - with scenes shot in Greater Manchester
25 years on, the streaming platform is turning the BAFTA-winning blockbuster into an eight-part series, due to premiere in the UK this June. The film followed a band of steelworkers from Sheffield who formed a male striptease act to earn some cash.
Also re-joining the cast are Paul Barber as Horse, Steve Huison as Lomper and Tom Wilkinson as Gerald. Wim Snape, who was 11 years old in the film version of The Full Monty, returns as Gaz’s son Nathan, now 38. Another image shows the hilarious Horse, riding his mobility scooter on the motorway. Wearing a flat cap and a trench coat, a bearded Horse looks aloof while navigating the traffic, positioned in front of a lorry.
