It's a time-travelling 1980s slasher flick.
The film follows the infamous "Sweet Sixteen Killer," who returns 35 years after murdering three teenagers to strike again on Halloween night and claim a fourth victim.
Bowen will play an over-protective mum trying to keep her daughter safe while Shipka stars as Jamie, a reckless 17-year-old who comes face-to-face with the masked murderer. However, when Jamie goes on the run from the killer, she accidentally travels back in time to 1987 — the year of the original killings.
There, she navigates the culture shock of the 1980s as she teams up with her teenaged mum to stop the killer and prevent herself from becoming stuck in the past.
