At the starry opening of Tiffany & Co’s flagship store in New York on Thursday, Pugh paired an ethereal Valentino chiffon dress with a killer hairstyle. Her hairstylist, Peter Lux, was inspired by the film in which Michelle Pfeiffer famously stars as blonde bombshell Elvira Hancock.
With her full fringe and curved ends, Pfeiffer’s hair in the film instantly became iconic.Pugh did a stellar job of embodying the spirit of Elvira, with a look that was equally beguiling. A full fringe grazed her thick, dark eyebrows, while the ends of her mid-length lob were styled to curl in towards her face. She paired the style – possibly a wig – with a subtle smoky eye, balmy pink lip and, of course, a seductive gaze. Obsessed doesn’t begin to cover it.
