A man who spat in a police officer’s eye before head-butting a second during a Three Lions football match at Wembley Park has been jailed., was kicked out of the stadium during a England and Switzerland game earlier this year because he was way too drunk.
Harrow Crown Court was told that once outside, the 27-year-old launched a racist tirade at the stewards.A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said the incident happened on March 26. They added: ‘Once outside, Scotter racially abused stewards and assaulted four of them by punching, kicking, head-butting and spitting.As those of us lucky enough to have an evening off work look forward to Englandâs World Cup Quarter Final against France, one football supporter will be spending his first full day in prison after being convicted of racist violence during a pre-tournament friendly at Wembley.
