ITV's Women's World Cup pundit Laura Woods opens up about her 'absolute nightmare' live TV moments, from spilling coffee on her guests to a very awkward tech failure
Sports pundit Laura Woods is at the helm of ITV's Women’s World Cup coverage this season and has years of live presenting under her belt - however, the 36-year-old admits that she's dealt with "hundreds" of embarrassing moments throughout her career.
"There was one I remember we went on air it was, it was probably my first live. My earpiece or something dropped out so I couldn't hear when they'd come to me live," she said. "So I was waiting for [the production crew] to throw to me. And I went, 'I can't hear them.' Like I can't hear him and I was live already. And those are the kind of moments that give you absolute nightmares.
“I would sort of push it out for him to speak and push it back in for me to speak. There’s a picture of it, it’s so funny. I was very nervous about it, but he was brilliant.”
