Paul Flowers will appear in Manchester Magistrates' Court next week

Flowers, a former Methodist minister and Labour councillor, was chairman of Manchester-headquartered Co-op Bank between 2010 and 2013. He was also a councillor in Rochdale from 1988 to 1992.
