The retired defender was caught travelling at 45 miles per hour in a 30 zone on Glasgow's A8 at Edinburgh Road.The ex-Dundee and Motherwell player's vehicle was also found to have a pneumatic tyres.Malcolm pleaded guilty on Thursday by letter at Glasgow's Justice of the Peace to the two charges.
The hearing was told that Malcolm, of Moodiesburn, North Lanarkshire, recently underwent ankle surgery.
