Two-time UFC champion TJ Dillashaw has retired from the sport of MMA
UFC officials confirmed to various media outlets that Dillashaw’s manager, Tiki Ghosn, informed the promotion of his client’s decision to retire.The former champion’s decision to walk away from fighting comes after his failed bantamweight title bid atDillashaw entered the title bout with a shoulder injury that quickly became apparent when the fight hit the floor and he was wincing in pain, looking like he was ready to tap out.
Dillashaw’s career first appeared to be over back in 2019 when he tested positive for Erythropoietin – also known as EPO – a performance-enhancing substance.
