Four teenagers and a pensioner were rushed to hospital after a horror crash in East Kilbride last night.

Horrific photos of the wreckage show a high performance car piled on top of another and a large-scale emergency response with multiple ambulance, police and fire crews at the scene.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 10.30pm on Wednesday, August 16, we were called to a report of a crash involving three cars and a bus on the A725, Kingsway, East Kilbride near the Birniehill roundabout.
A diversion is currently in place and drivers have been warned to avoid the area. Those heading southbound have been diverted along Whitemoss Avenue and those heading northbound have been diverted along Churchill Avenue.
