Four banks are to close 36 branches in 2024
Four major banks in the UK have announced they are shutting 36 more branches - including four in Yorkshire.
Bank closures have become the norm over the last few years as more people choose to do their banking online rather than in a branch. According to Which? banks and building societies have closed, or have scheduled to close, over 5,800 branches since January 2015, reports Mirror. Here is the full list of locations announced today that are closing next year, the Yorkshire closures have been highlighted:
