The Wishaw Wycombe Wanderers players were spotted by Livingston FC scout Barry Currier

and invited along to Almondvale Stadium, or the Tony Macaroni as it’s now known, to join their boys’ academy set-up.

Jack’s dad David Reid said: “Barry came and watched the boys for a few weeks and was keen to get them in at Livingston. It’s great for Wishaw Wycombe and the coaches, Craig Young, Scott Barr, Peter Naughton, Gary Hartley, Michael Groom, and there are a couple of new coaches too. “Jack and Tommy are in at Rangers as well. You can play with as many clubs and academies as you want until you are 10 years old and then you have to commit. So it’s a big year coming up for them as they may have a decision to make. The boys all normally play at under-9s age group – Jack is a pupil at Berryhill Primary; Gabriel is at St Ignatius’ Primary; Robbie attends Wishaw Academy Primary; and Tommy is at St Aidan’s Primary.
