The fair is open to anyone who is currently looking for work or changing their career.
The event will be held at Blackburn’s King George’s Hall with a host of local employers and experts there to answer any questions and offer advice. Hosted by Blackburn with Darwen Council the fair is open to anyone who is currently looking for work or changing their career.
"We have held successful jobs fairs in the past and this another way for people to get involved and pursue the job that you want.” The session on Monday October 2 from 10am to 3pm will be to help people ‘Get Work Ready’ with workshops to assist people fill in applications forms, learn interview techniques, update and revise their CV.
On Tuesday October 3 there will be workshops on how to identify skills and transferable skills, how to tailor CVs and cover letters, and how to answer interview questions and deal with scenario questions.
