Millions of Brits on means-tested benefits will be receiving the first half of the £650 cost of living payment over the next couple of weeks.
While the money is being handed out to benefit claimants, only those who are on a specific type of benefits will receive it. Recipients must be on means-tested benefits, but that's not all.When it comes to means-tested benefits, a recipient's income and savings are taken into account when calculating the eligibility of the cost of living payments. This means that millions of people will, unfortunately, be left out of the much-needed cash.
