Storm Babet is set to cause significant disruption
A flood warning has been issued for Nottinghamshire as Storm Babet continues to batter the country. The warning has been put in place for the River Maun at Haughton, Milton and West Drayton on Thursday, October 19.
"Please take action to protect yourself and your property and monitor local weather and river conditions. Avoid contact with, walking or driving through flood water. Consider activating any property flood protection products you may have."Flood alerts have also been issued by the government for Nottinghamshire in relation to five more areas. While not all of them are located in the county, the government deems them to be in a close enough proximity to affect Nottinghamshire.
