Furious Taylor Swift fans fork out nearly £200 on Eras Tour seats to find out they are 'behind the stage'
Taylor Swift fans in London and Edinburgh are celebrating today after getting their hands on the first tickets for the star's UK shows next summer - but not everyone is happy.
After waiting in a virtual queue fans were taken to the ticket purchase page, but many were left confused by the options available to them. Fans who were after seated tickets complained that instead of being able to select seats in certain sections of the venues, they were told to choose from a number of different price levels - ranging from the most expensive seats at around £195 to the cheapest at around £59.
Fuming fans took to Twitter to voice their concerns, with many complaining that there was no prior warning from Ticketmaster or AXS that the seats they were about to purchase could have a restricted view. @totooedheart also took to Twitter to complain about her seats, telling AXS: “i have just bought taylor swift pre-sale and paid for tickets to realise they are a restricted view without any prior knowledge stating so on the tickets?”
Taylor fan @sophienkhan asked if she could swap her tickets for Edinburgh after finding out they were behind the stage rather than on the side of the stadium like she wanted.
