The former mill site in Fylde Road is currently occupied by an empty and abandoned three-storey building. It would be demolished and replaced with two blocks of 132 apartments in total along with a new shop facing the street 🏙️
It is also close to St Walburge’s Church which is in Pedder Street but it on the other side of the railway line from the development site.As well as the apartments across the two blocks there would be a roof top terrace, gardens, car parking and a ground floor retail unit facing into Fylde Road.
“It will deliver housing in line with the government objective to boost significantly the supply of housing and create jobs in the construction sector during the development phase as well as further benefit to business as new residents fit out and decorate new homes.”
