Locals have spoken out about the horrors of East End Park
Residents are scared to leave their homes in a Leeds community amid fears they will be terrorised by gangs of children - some roaming the streets as young as ten.
Steven said: “It’s a s***hole. It’s not a place to come, really. I don’t think it is. You’ve got young kids flying about doing what they want to do. I don’t come out after dark, I only come out to walk the dogs. That’s how bad it is. My son came to visit me, he’s only been once, and he got attacked. Steven added: “It’s bad. These kids have got no respect for anybody. Not even for their own parents. They know they can do and say what they want. If anybody comes out to disagree with them, they disappear and come back with like 20 or 30 others. You can’t go to a kid’s parents and tell them their kid is misbehaving anymore, because to them, you’re causing disrespect by going to their door. They’re not bothered.
“Most people I’ve seen here, they don’t look super happy. Not upset exactly, just a bit emotionless and downtrodden. I tend to see a lot of kids outside within school hours during term time."
