The killers clinically hunted down Haji Choudhary Rab Nawaz and his brother before the former was stabbed in the heart .
A gang of five men who hunted down and brutally murdered a dad and attacked his brother have been jailed for at least 125 years.
A court heard the attack was over an ongoing family feud, with the gang "acting as a pack" after plotting the murderous attack. The five men from Birmingham and the Black Country were today jailed for life for Mr Nawaz's murder, as well as the attempted murder of Mr Nawaz's brother, at Warwick Crown Court.
Top news stories today Judge Lockhart KC said: "Extraordinarily, this man was your uncle. Even more extraordinary is that you attacked [both men] as they left the mosque where they had attended funeral prayers for your extended family." Three of the killers were Mr Nawaz’s nephews while the other two were related to him through marriage. The trial heard how Mr Nawaz and his brother went to the Jamiah Masjid and Institute in Foleshill, Coventry for the funeral on October last year.Mr Nawaz's brother managed to drive the pair to the mosque, but the violent attack continued, as the killers battered the vehicle and hurled threats.
